MyRugbyREF End-User Licence Agreement (EULA)

1) Licence

MyRugbyREF (“we”, “us”, “our”) grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use any MyRugbyREF application, including but not limited to RugbyREF, SidelineMANAGER, CardREVIEW, MyREF, and associated watchOS or Android Wear applications (collectively, the “Apps”), on devices you own or control, strictly in accordance with this EULA and applicable platform terms.

2) Permitted Use

• Use the Apps for lawful rugby officiating, match management, and review purposes.
• Create, export, and retain match notes and data for legitimate use.

3) Restrictions

• No reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive source code.
• No copying, redistributing, selling, leasing, sublicensing, or making the Apps available to others.
• No bypassing subscription enforcement or technical protections.
• No unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing use.

4) Ownership

The Apps are licensed, not sold. MyRugbyREF retains all rights, title, and interest in the Apps and all associated intellectual property. Except for the licence expressly granted, no rights are transferred.

5) Subscriptions

Certain features may require an auto-renewable subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account upon confirmation. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You may manage or cancel subscriptions in your platform Account Settings.

6) Your Data & Privacy

The Apps primarily store match data locally on your device. We do not sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy. Optional cloud backups are controlled by you and your chosen provider.

7) Third-Party Services

The Apps may integrate with platform services (Apple, Google) or allow exports. Your use of those services is governed by their terms.

8) Platform Terms & Beneficiaries

• If obtained via Apple’s App Store, this licence is between you and MyRugbyREF, not Apple. Apple is a third-party beneficiary and may enforce this EULA. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or, support services with respect to the Apps.
• If obtained via Google Play, use is also subject to Google Play’s terms. Google bears no responsibility for support unless required by law.

9) Updates

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.

10) Disclaimers

THE APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR USE DURING MATCHES OR EVENTS.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyRugbyREF shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding twelve (12) months.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your licence for breach of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease use and delete all copies.

13) Export & Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export and sanctions laws.

14) Consumer Rights

Nothing in this EULA limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

15) Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Courts located in New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
